Heres a quiky. This one of the best wrestling games out there. Graphics, match types, entrances are all in here.
like more than 50% of the moves, and entrances are motion captured. The career mode is really great but really bad at the
same time. It is almost the same as last years own. It's a 52 weeks or years but its short. The big improvements are the
voice overs. The commentary not so great. Buried Alive match yes finally a buried alive match. But the GM mode is quite
boring in my opinion. But the roster is a bit dated. Overall its Just Amazing. What a great way to finish off the Smackdown
series on the PS2.
8.5 Presentation This is wrestling done right. Post-match celebrations, an excellent recreation
of WWE programming, and some of the accurate ring walks around. THQ spared no expense this year. Everything is in here.
9
Graphics A higher polygon count, true 3D crowds, motion-captured animations, and dead-on facial recreations make for
the best looking SmackDown ever (there are still collision problems, though). One of the best looking wrestling games out
there.
7 Sound The voice-overs this year are huge improvements compared to last time and the selection
of music is more varied. Announcer commentary, on the other hand, is really, really bad. Also all of the wrestlers latest
themes are in here except for some like Eddie Guerrero and others.
8.5 Gameplay Imagine the familiar
SmackDown mechanics but add the strategy of a real momentum and stamina systems, while refining just about every other aspect
of the game. That's SVR 2006.
9 Lasting Appeal A much-improved online feature, the General Manager
mode, a cinematic season option, a huge array of customizable segments, tons of bonus unlockables, and dozens of matches.
Will last you till the next Smackdown game on the PS2. 'Nuff said.
